Congestive heart failure (CHF) occurs when conditions such as coronary artery disease or high blood pressure gradually impair the heart's ability to pump enough blood to supply the body's needs. Through medications, lifestyle changes and other means, CHF can be effectively managed in most cases.

At The Heart Group's Congestive Heart Failure Clinic, which has been proven to decrease the length of hospital stays as well as the number of readmissions, we help more than 1,200 people control and manage their CHF. Nearly 100 patients a day visit the spacious and well-staffed clinic for tests, evaluation of medications, care coordination of heart devices, and review of risk factors.
