Congestive Heart Failure Clinic
The Congestive Heart Failure Clinic at The Heart Group is nationally and internationally recognized for its innovative, collaborative and
comprehensive approach to quality outcomes. We work as a team to provide
every patient with advanced care in a progressive, comfortable and friendly
environment. With access to the latest innovations in the care of a failing
heart, we develop a tailored plan of care that fits the specific needs of
each patient and his or her loved ones.
We offer assessment and treatment of patients with systolic and diastolic
dysfunction, pulmonary hypertension, and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
Through our partnership with Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgeons of Lancaster
and Lancaster General Hospital, we coordinate a ventricular assist device
program for patients with end-stage heart failure. We provide evaluation and
care for patients with pulmonary hypertension.
Our Heart Failure and Device clinics are organized so that our patients with
devices receive completely integrated care. The Heart Group's highly
effective approach to device therapy in heart failure serves as a model for
cardiovascular practices across the country and around the world.
Our collaboration with the Lancaster Heart and Stroke Foundation has led to
many new advances in the care of patients with heart failure and continues
to foster an environment of research and investigation in Lancaster County.
